Server got rolled back?!?!

Hey i loged in just then and I saw my town (sparta) half way built and the palace i built wasnt there, I check my inventory and half my stuff is missing, everything is from yesterday except the currency, I have lost a lot of stuff along with the rest of the server. Did we get rolled back? if yes then why? and can we please have the stuff we had before back? please

Yes it did get rolled back because one dumbass admin decided to fill the whole spawn with lava
